

Constance “Connie” Camerio Martina, born January 25, 1947, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2013 after a brief illness. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Baxter Hurley will officiate. The family asks that you wear your favorite golfing attire in Connie’s honor. The family will meet friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and suggests that those who wish, may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
A native of Macon, GA, Connie was a graduate of Miller High School and Macon Junior College. She loved playing golf with the Sunday Group at Barrington Hall Golf Club, taking trips with friends and her loving husband to Biloxi and Florida, as well as, lunching with the Dixie Dozen of Miller High School.
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Martina was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Helen Camerio and is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Fred Martina; daughter, Adrienne Brooks (Shane Rousey); stepdaughter, Diana Tisdale (Michael Patton), stepson, Jim Martina (Victoria Suggs); sisters, Debbie Adkinson, Pam Camerio and Becky Stripling.
