Dear Mr. Hornsby,
I was sadden to hear of Cindy's passing. She was a gentle and caring lady, but she was a fighter too. I saw her come to school many days when I knew she was not feeling well. This fighting spirit I admired. She will be missed by all of those who knew her. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Mr. Hornsby,
I only had the pleasure of working with you and your sweet wife at Howard for one year, but you both were truly an example of so many positive characteristics! Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and comfort you in the days to come.

An angel has entered heaven. A woman that had a kind, gentle heart and cared for children beyond the expression of words. She dearly loved her husband and her family and the many friends that she made so easily due to her caring nature. She will be missed here on earth but was welcomed with open arms there. Love, Edward and Rhonda Ruffin and Family
