Dale Foster Lineback, age 88, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Born in Connersville, Indiana, Dale was a retired elementary school teacher in Cincinnati, OH and Palm Beach County, FL. He served his nation as an Army veteran and was a proud patriot. He loved travel and sports, especially college basketball. He was a devoted son and loving brother, the best dad and uncle and he was also affectionately known as “Grandpa Dale.” His older friends called him Luke: his nickname from high school. He was the most loyal kind of friend and always had a smile and a kind word for others. To know him was to love him. He passed peacefully at sunrise at the home of his step-daughter and her husband in Macon, GA. on December 9, 2023. Heaven surely gained an angel. Thank you to Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care and support that Dale received.
