

DEBORAH ANN TIMMIS MIDDLEBROOKS MACON – Deborah Ann Timmis Middlebrooks, 56, passed away on Saturday at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. Bishop Dennis Applebee will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Rollin P. Middlebrooks, Jr., 4633 Glenwood Drive, Macon 31210. Mrs. Middlebrooks, a native of Bethesda, Maryland, was preceded in death by her father, Robert Leslie Timmis, Sr. who was a career Naval Officer. During his career, Deborah and her family traveled extensively, living in Hawaii, Portugal, California, New Mexico and in Virginia. She was a graduate of W. T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, VA and Brigham Young University earning her BA degree in Psychology. She was also a graduate of the University of New Mexico where she earned her degree in Nursing. A retired Registered Nurse and Psychologist, Mrs. Middlebrooks was a professional ballet dancer and teacher and was a loving wife and mother. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was the niece of the late John Robert Bailey. Survivors include her husband, Rollin Persons Middlebrooks III of Macon; her children, Valerie Gwendolynn Middlebrooks, Leslie Aislinn Middlebrooks and Rollin Persons Middlebrooks IV, all of Macon; her mother, Barbara Bingham Timmis Holmstrup of Winston-Salem, NC; her sister, Susan (John) Prigmore of Jonesville, NC; her brother, Robert Leslie Timmis III (Carla) of Albuquerque, NM; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rollin P. Middlebrooks, Jr. and Anne B. Middlebrooks, of Macon; two sisters-in-law, Angela M. Harrelson (Sidney) of John Creek, GA and Judith Russell (Tom) of Mt. Vernon, VA; her aunt, Dianne Bailey of Georgetown, FL; uncles, Cecil E. Bingham of Los Alamos, NM and Roger A.
