Don Meredith Amerson

Don M. Amerson passed into Glory on November 29, 2025, at the age of 88. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel. The family will greet friends from Noon to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private with the Rev. Harry Goff officiating.

Don was born in Macon, Georgia to the late George Edgar and Willer Lee Sharpe Amerson. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Angel Amerson and eight siblings. Don served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was self employed as a Real Estate Appraiser for many years. Don was a member of North Macon Church of Christ and served on various committees throughout many years. For 67 years, Don showered his beloved wife, Christine, with his unwavering devotion and unconditional love.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Johnson Amerson of Macon, son, Michael (Christie) Amerson of Macon, daughter, Jeannie (Dewey) Greene of Brentwood, TN, eight grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
