Born in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Dorothy Lorraine Warren Phillips. She was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Starley; son, Billy Avera; grandson, Jeffery; and great grandson, Conner.
She is survived by the father of her children, Don Walker; children, Joanne Whitener (Sandy), Jennifer Schiller (Rob), David Walker and Donnie Walker (Wendy); grandchildren, Zeke, Gage (Katie), Ben (Madison), Christopher, Dawson, Kelly (Thomas), Kasey, Jade; and several great grandchildren, Layton, Dylan, Savannah, and Gracie; sister, Elaine Richardson.
Snow's Memorial Chapel at Bass Road has charge of arrangements.
