Ed was a breath of fresh air when he was on city council: his integrity, diligence, wisdom, intelligence, thoughtful, and professional combined to ensure competent project completion – in working on the substandard housing problem. His enigmatic smile and wry humor made him a pleasure to work with – even housing for the poor. It was an honor to have known him.
