OBITUARY

Elijah Lewis Lindsey

Elijah Lewis Lindsey, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday at Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Alamo, GA with the Rev. Charles Osborne officiating. The family will meet friends from 4 – 6 p.m., Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono.

Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Sara Elizabeth Page Lindsey. Born in Wrightsville, he was the son of the late Benjamin Wiley and Daisey Eve Powell Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey was retired from Bibb Manufacturing after more than forty years. He was a member of Wheeler Heights Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include those he loved most, his daughters Sandra (Ted) Higgison and Shirley Foskey; his granddaughter, Angel (Victor) Kendrick; his great grandchildren, Trey Gerald, B. J. Sparks, Nicholas Sparks, Elijah Sparks and Autumn Sparks; his brother, B. W. (Patsy) Joiner.
