

Lisa Kersey, 54, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Pine Pointe Inpatient Hospice Facility. The Rosary will be said at 6 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with the Funeral Mass Celebrated on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and burial to be held on Friday, January 17, 2013 at 11 a.m., at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Michael Kavanaugh officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Pine Pointe Inpatient Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
Mrs. Kersey, wife of the late William Kersey, was a lifelong resident of Macon and the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Johnson Hadarits. She was the Public Relationship Director with Mt. de Sales Academy. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Survivors include her loving family, her children Becky Kersey (Matt) Smith and MaryBeth Kersey Bateman (Matt), both of Macon; her grandchildren, Mia Smith, Matthew Smith, Carter Smith and Will Bateman; sister, Maria (Bob) Maxfield of Dawsonville; nephew, Robert Maxfield of Cumming; aunt and uncle, Carl and Joye Hadarits and a host of other loving family and friends.
