Emily "Cheryl" Wood, age 70, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at New Haven Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will begin greeting friends at 1:00 PM the afternoon of the service. Rev. Dwayne Outlaw and Dr. Clyde Green will officiate.
Cheryl was born in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Christine and Buddy Marsh and was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Allen and a grandson, Justin Allen. She was a long standing member of New Haven Baptist Church and attended Jones County High School where she was a member of the Beta Club.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jimmie Wood, IV; children, James Glover (Kathy), Christie Walsh (David), Jimmie Wood, V (Brittany), Tim Wood (Michelle), and Angela Duncan (Devon); grandchildren, Trey and Logan Glover, Brittney Allen, and Kylee Wood; brother, Lamar Bloodworth; several nieces and nephews.
