Evelyn Davis Thomas

Evelyn Davis Thomas, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at a local assisted living facility. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with entombment in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Pastor Freddie Mack will officiate. The family will meet friends on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas, wife of the late Ira H. Thomas, was born in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Henry C. and Ora Suzanne Wilson Davis. She was a graduate of Tifton High School and had worked at Tumpane Company of Georgia. She was a member of High Point Church and attended the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship.

Survivors include those she loved most, her daughter, Julie A. Samuel of Macon; her sister, Delores D. Davis.
