Fay Dominy McConnell

Fay Dominy McConnell, 95, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. A Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in the chapel of Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with Rev. Melissa Kremer. Interment will be private.

Mrs. McConnell was born September 25, 1928, in Dublin, Georgia to the late George Noah Martin and Mamie Lee Ward Martin. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church, where she was active in the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. McConnell was also involved in the XYZ Club, H2U, various card groups, the Wellness Center and she loved to travel. Mrs. McConnell visited all fifty states in the United States and even ziplined in Costa Rica with her husband in her early eighties. She was a former employee of Davidson's Department Store in Macon and was retired from the Women's Dress Department of Macy's. Mrs. McConnell was preceded in death by her first husband: Ernest Dominy, Jr. and her second husband: Robert Harry McConnell.

Mrs. McConnell is survived by her daughters: Barbara Dominy Polstra, Teddie Dominy Land (Jackson) and her granddaughters: Tobi Hoff (Jeffery), Teri Kelley (Steve), Adrienne Barker Williamson (Sawyer) and Alexandra Barker (Josh).
