Faye R. Grinstead, 87, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Pastor Jerry Dingmore will officiate. The family will meet friends from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grinstead, wife of sixty-five years of the late Keith Edward Grinstead, was born in Dexter, GA the daughter of the late Daniel A. and Addie Whitehead Rabun. Living in Macon most of her life, she retired from Keebler in 1995. Mrs. Grinstead was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Lake Sinclair. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Survivors include the family she adored, her son, David (Diane) Grinstead of Macon; her daughter, Jo (Lin) Towson of Milledgeville; her grandchildren, Bobby (Cassandra) Grinstead, Kevin (Stephany) Grinstead, Brad (Keely) Towson, Jennifer (Terry) Mobley and Joy (Josh) Booth; great grandchildren, Austin Grinstead, Kristen Grinstead, Tyler Grinstead, Blake Towson, Audrey Towson, Tony Bowden, Ali Bowden, Max Mobley, Caden Hodge, Riggs Booth and Evie Booth; great-great grandchild, Ava Bowden and many nieces and nephews.
