There are no words to describe how much I loved Trey. He wasn’t just a co-worker. He was an incredible person and a great friend. Trey’s office was right next to mine. He greeted me everyday when I got to my office. He was full of energy and joy. There wasn’t a better person to help me get my day started than Trey. He had a smile that could brighten anyone’s day and had a heart for serving others. We connected over some many things such as our love for UGA football, our faith, our obsession for Patagonia and his sons growing passion for lacrosse. I simply enjoyed Trey’s company. The minute I started working at Mercer, he treated me like I was his own daughter. From attempting to fix my beloved space heater to helping me purchase my first home, Trey wore his heart on his sleeve. Thank you, Trey. I love you and will miss you so much. You were a special person. You loved your family, you loved the Lord and you loved others. That’s a life well lived my friend.

Words cannot express how heartbroken we are about the loss of Trey. My family had the pleasure of knowing Trey for 16 years. He was always willing to help others, always smiling, and always had a kind word for everyone. He was such a caring man. His love for children was seen through his work in the school system and with them at church. He loved his family so much and anyone that knew Trey, knew that he would do anything for his family. He will always be remembered and loved by all who were blessed to have known him. Our prayers are that God will comfort you Andrea, George, Mary Frank, Molly Edward, and all his family in the days to come. We love you all so much.

Words can never express the sadness of hearing about the passing of Trey. Had the pleasure to know him and his sweet family from attending church with them. Trey was our sons Sunday School teacher and he always greeted him with his wonderful smile. I loved hearing his stories that he did for the children on Sunday mornings. Dr. Seagraves was such a sweet, caring and genuine man! He always wore the brightest and most sincere smile whenever you saw him! No matter where I saw him at, he would always greet me with “Hey, Miss Katrina” and his famous smile to go along with it! I had the pleasure of working in the office with him at CCBOE and met his wonderful family that I instantly loved! He had so much compassion for his family, the schools and the kids! He will forever be remembered as he has impacted my life along with many others! My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time!

My heart has been so heavy since I found out about Trey passing. Trey was an awesome guy! He has made a reputation for himself as being friendly, caring, always smiling, and going the extra mile to help especially when it came to making sure the kids in school where taken care of! Sending my love and prayers for the strength and comfort that Andrea and her precious children are going to need for the hard days ahead! We love you!

The world definitely lost a shining light yesterday. Trey was one of the most kind and compassionate men I've ever known. His smile is one I'll always remember. I'm so thankful that our paths crossed in this life . The impact he made in this world will never be forgotten. Andrea, you told me that Just As I Am was one of Trey's favorite hymns. It's very fitting because he loved everyone just as they are.
Andrea, George, Mary Frank and Molly Edward, I love you guys so much and will pray daily for healing.
