Dear Rankin family, you don't know me. Bubba and I were classmates, roommates and friends many years ago in the early 1970's. Bubba and I had a lot of laughs, did a lot of work (we had a big garden at our country house) and sweated through a few college courses together. We lost touch after college days and I don't think I saw him again but one time between then and now, but his friendship has remained with me. I regret that I was unable to attend his service, but want to let you know that I was sorry to hear of Bubba's death and for your loss.

Diane,
Sissie and I are so sorry to hear of Bubba's passing. Our minds go back to happier times hanging out with "Big James" Havard.
We are with you in this difficult time. Call us if we can help.
