Hazel Hiers Porter, age 93, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Hazel was born June 1, 1929 the daughter of the late Marjorie Christian Kennedy Hiers and Homer Brown Hiers. She was the widow of Benjamin G. Porter, Jr.
A Celebration of Life for Hazel will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, followed by a visitation. Burial will be private for family only at Riverside Cemetery. Mike and Richard Lee will officiate. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210.
Mrs. Porter was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. The QVC Channel and her family will all miss her dearly.
Mrs. Porter is survived by her son, Benjamin G. "Skeet" Porter, III; nephews, Howard B. Lee, Richard P. Lee (Patti) and Michael Lee.
