

John was a native of Detroit, MI, and was the son of the late Robert and Yolande Hagemeyer. He attended the University of Dayton and was a graduate of Georgia Tech, where he received a degree in chemical engineering. He spent his working career in the paper industry and retired from Graphic Packaging. He was a member of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, was a Yellow Jackets and avid Dayton Flyers fan. John was also past president of the Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity. He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. John was a loving husband and dad.
Mr. Hagemeyer is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan Conlee Hagemeyer; a daughter, Anna Martha Hagemeyer; brother, Robert W. Hagemeyer, Jr. and his wife, Shelia; sisters- and brothers-in-law James and Elizabeth Knight, Knoxville, TN; Richard and Kay Fountain, Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law Barry Randall, Omaha, NE; nephews Jay Randall, Hilliard, OH; Kevin Randall, Charlotte, NC; Keith Randall, Omaha, NE; Alex Knight, Atlanta, GA; and a niece, Amy Penn, Knoxville, TN. He was predeceased by his sister, Judith Lynn Randall.
