My first job (in 1962 as a teenaged Candy Striper) was at Butler's Pet Hospital. Dr. Butler was the kindest, gentlest person and loved the animals so much. Because of his influence, I learned how to love and take care of my animals properly. My love and sympathy goes out to his family.

I only knew Dr.Butler from being a customer, but I loved him dearly. He was by far the best vet in Macon. His love for his patients and care for his pet parents was very obvious. My fur babies went to him for years and years and I couldn't always pay everything at once and he allowed me to make payments. God bless him.He knew I loved animals too. He was so sweet and through and patient. I was sad when he retired, but glad for him. He was a truly wonderful man. I loved him. My prayers are for his family in this great loss.
