James Knight “Butch” Hogan III, 64, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2:00pm at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org/donate.
Butch was born in Macon, Georgia to Kitty Hartley Hogan Neace and the late James Knight Hogan Jr. He was a diesel mechanic and an avid Harley Davidson rider.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Jamey Hogan and John Hendrix; grandchildren, Natalie and Benjamin Hendrix; brother, Paul and Nancy Hogan; sister, Robin and Gene Green; and five nieces and nephews.
