OBITUARY

James Kenneth Nations Sr.

James Kenneth Nations, Sr., 77, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 233 Peachtree Street, NE, Harris Tower, Suite 2225, Atlanta, GA 30303.

Mr. Nations was born in Oma, Mississippi the son of the late Sarah Letchworth Nations and Hollis Houston Nations. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Carolyn Watson Nations. Mr. Nations was a Retired Master Sgt. Of the United States Air Force, having served for 20+ years. He was also retired from Boeing after 15 years of service as an avionics technical writer. Mr. Nations was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Nations, Mary Gentry, Shelby Nations and Gary Nations.

Mr. Nations is survived by his wife, Karen Morgan-Nations of Macon; son, James Kenneth “Kenny” Nations, Jr. of Macon; daughter, Carol Christian “Christi” Nations of Chicago; granddaughter, Sarah Angela Nations of Macon; sister, Kathleen Wingo; daughter-in-law, Emeli O. Nations; step-daughters, Kari Rosskopf-Jones, Kelli Bennett, Kimberly Travis-Carter; step-grandchildren, Anissa Bennett, Kaitlyn Golphenee, and Chance K. Travis.
