Jesse William "Bill" Brown Jr.

Jesse William “Bill” Brown, Jr., 69, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Highland Hills Baptist Church. Burial will be private for family only in Riverside Cemetery. Dr. James Bruner and Rev. Cass Ducharme will officiate. The family may be contacted at the residence, 1150 Jackson Springs Road, Macon 31211. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity.

Mr. Brown was born in Macon, graduated from Lanier High School for Boys, attended North Georgia College, and graduated from The University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. He was the son of the late Katherine Laverne Thornton Brown and Jesse William Brown, Sr. Mr. Brown was a pharmacist at Chichester’s Baconsfield for 30 years and was a former partner of both the Chichester’s Pharmacy and Homecare. Mr. Brown was a United States Army veteran for two years and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Karen Elaine Green Brown of Macon; sons, Justin (Julia) Brown and Will Brown; granddaughter, Charlotte Alice Brown.
