

John W. Daniels, 74, joined his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ed Chambless will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Daniels, son of the late Maston C. and Maggie Weston Daniels, was born in Grand Ridge, FL. He served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was a graduate of Macon Tech. Mr. Daniels was a structural aircraft sheet metal mechanic retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Daniels was of the Baptist faith and loved Southern Gospel Music. His hobbies included camping, riding his “motor,” gardening, and feeding the birds.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-three years, Margaret O’Conner Daniels; his sons, Mark (Tami) Daniels and Scott (Crystal) Daniels; his grandson, Kevin Daniels; brothers, Roy Daniels and Frank Daniels; sister, Mary Evans and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Davis.
