John "Marc" Marcus Gabriel

John Marcus "Marc" Gabriel, 49, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 after battling an extended illness. His life will be celebrated on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 2 p.m., at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, led by Rev. Michael Jones. Burial will follow services in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at Snow's on Cherry Street on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock.

Marc was born in Macon, Georgia to Judy Fay Fordham Chastain and the late Marcus William Gabriel. He worked for many years as a machine operator with monofilament systems for YKK. Marc was baptized at a young age at Log Cabin Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Judy Fordham Chastain; son, Graham Goodwin; daughter, Victoria Gabriel Gray (Terrell); sisters, Brandi Gabriel (Aubree), Nicole Chastain (Josh); significant other, Leeanna Nettles; grandchildren, Little T and Harmoni; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; aunts Helen Cannon and Lois Condrey; best friend, Eddie Reid; a multitude of cousins and extended family and close friends, to include Becky Thompson.
