John Darrell Holder

Darrell Holder, 55, went Home to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2014 in an Atlanta hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m., Saturday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. John C. Wood will officiate. The family will meet friends following the service in the mausoleum. The family may be contacted at the residence of Jessie and Buddy Coley. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Chapel, 170 Starcadia Circle, Macon 31210 or to a charity of your choice.

Mr. Holder, son of the late Donald Edward Holder, was a native of Macon and was a self-employed electrician. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Christ Chapel.

Survivors include his sons, Christopher Holder and Jeremy Holder, of Macon; his mother and stepfather, Jessie Holder Coley and Buddy Coley of Lizella; three grandchildren; brother, Eddie (Lynn) Holder of Macon; sister, Donna (Rusty) Anderson of North Augusta, SC; four nieces; stepbrother, Greg (Kathy) Coley of Jacksonville, FL; stepsisters, Lynn (Danny) Watson of Macon and Laura Coley of Ackworth.
