I will always have wonderful memories of Johnny. We were childhood friends on Newberg Ave and enjoyed many afternoons together along with Wynoka. Johnny and spoke on the phone several times many years ago but I am sad to say we never got together for a very long time. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and especially to his sweet sister Wynoka!

Johnny was one of my very first friends in life. So sorry he had to endure his illness. What a great person he was. Many happy memories on Newberg. He was my next door neighbor before grammar school. And Pat, you know you have always been so special to me. My love and prayers to you and I wish you peace

Pat and family, I remember such fun times with Johnny Robert as I liked to call him and he hated that when I would stay with Wynoka on the weekends. He became another brother to me. I loved to here him and Wynoka talk Donald Duck talk to each other. As they got older they would not do it anymore. I can’t imagine what you are feeling right now, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you and your family in the days and weeks ahead.

Johnny was my best friend in high school graduating from Willingham in 1967. We did anything every weekend together. He just wouldn't take me on his dates, and vice versa. Even though we had sparse contact since then and over the next 52 years, i knew he was there if I needed him. From our first child being born in 1975 only 3 weeks apart, his son Chad and my son Kevin, we made some attempt to keep in touch. OLD FRIENDSHIPS NEVER DIE ! Love you Johnny, Pat and family and sister Wynoka and family.
