Johnny Robert Myers of Macon passed away on August 19, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 22 at 11:00 AM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel on Pio Nono Ave. with Taylor Carter officiating. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until service time.
Mr. Myers was born on July 31, 1949 in Macon, Georgia to the late Vernon Myers and Lilly Mae Thigpen Myers. He was a graduate of the Banking School of Louisiana and obtained a degree in Math from Mercer University. He was a member of Kingsland Baptist Church in Kingsland, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Mr. Myers, donations should be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Suite A, Macon, GA 31201.
He is survived by his wife Pat Amos Myers; son Chad (Jessica) Myers, and Justin (Jenny) Myers; grandchildren, Ashley, Abby, Katy, Matthew, and Zoey; sister, Wynoka Moye; and several nephews.
