Josh Thomas Brown, 87, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. A Private Graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, North Gate on Saturday, July 16 at 12 noon with Chaplain Ken Jordan officiating. A Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.
Josh was born in Macon to the late Annie Lee Thompson Brown and Dave Brown Sr. He was of the Baptist Faith. Josh retired in 1991 from the Macon Police Department with 29 years of service.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Jane Barron Brown; daughters, Brenda Dianne Potts (David) and Nancy Carolyn Gresham (Tim); grandchildren, Todd Brandon Potts, Brandon David Potts, and Mandi Joell Arnett Titus; and two great-grandchildren.
