Joyce Huckaby Knowles

MACON – Joyce Ann Huckaby Knowles, 64, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The Rev. Rex Odom and Mr. Donald Ramage will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care Options, 1125 Walnut Street, Macon 31201.

Mrs. Knowles, wife of the late William A. Knowles, Jr., was born in Thomaston the daughter of the late Hurbert Lamar Huckaby and Ruth Adams Huckaby. She had lived in Macon the past thirty- eight years and was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Knowles was a paraprofessional at Mattie Wells Elementary School and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her children, Billy (Tonya) Knowles of Jones County, Kevin (Windy) Knowles of Byron, Kimberly Knowles Stanovich and Eddie Reid of Jones County; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla, Kolby, Kuper, Collin Knowles, Harley Yarbrough (Robert Billena) and Mikey Knowles, Georgia Grace Stanovich and Rhori Stanovich; her sister, Gaynell (Cecil) Ingram; her brother, Aaron (Darlene) Hammock and several nieces and nephews.
