Katherine Hunnicutt Maddox

Katherine Hunnicutt Maddox, 89, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with Rev. Richard Lanning officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Burial will be private.

Katherine was born in Macon to the late Lee Hunnicutt and Eloise Causey Stanley. She retired after 25 years from Warner Robins Air Force Base where she was the General’s secretary and also retired from Ingleside United Methodist Church where she was secretary for 20 years. Katherine was of the Methodist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Patsy Jackson and Terry Maddox (Gail); grandchildren, Katie Maddox, Amy Smith and Reese Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Caden Jackson and LLam Nicholson; and her niece, Kathy Simmons.

It was always a pleasure to see Mrs. Katherine when she was in the dentist office. She put a smile on everyone's face. So sad to hear of her passing. She will be missed.
