Kathleen Conner Herrin

Kathleen Conner Herrin, 85 passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. Memorial Services will be held at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street on Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. with the Dr. Bill Hardee officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial was at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon 31204.

Kathleen was born in Hilliard, FL to the late Hampton Lee and Myrtle Geiger Conner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Edwin who passed away on March 4, her sister, Geneva Zellner and daughter-in-law, Fay Herrin. Kathleen retired from Ware County Board of Education. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kathy (Don) Kendrick of Gray, Becky (Steve) Burt of Ft. Worth, TX, Eddie Herrin of Ocala, FL, John (Peggy) Herrin of Mechanicsville, VA, and Tom (Debby) Herrin of Yorktown, VA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan Conner, Leroy Conner, Robert Conner and Rayford Conner; and adopted son, Larry (Malinda) Witt.
