Kenneth James Tidwell

MACON – Kenneth James “K.T.” Tidwell, 53, died Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to assist with funeral expenses to Darrell Armstrong, 664 Hathaway Drive, Macon, GA 31210.

Mr. Tidwell, son of the late James Ottis Tidwell, was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, had served with the U. S. Army and was a pipefitter. He was preceded in death by his son, James Ottis Tidwell II and his sister, Kimberly Joyce Armstrong.

Survivors include his children, James Tidwell, Jesse Tidwell and Joey Tidwell all of Macon; five grandchildren; his mother, Patricia C. Tidwell of Macon; his sister, Kathey Snider of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
