Kimberly Doty Rekau, 66, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with the Rev. Andrew Howe, Rev. Jerry Bisping and Rev. Jeremy Wilson officiating. The family will greet from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
Kimberly was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Robert and Elizabeth Johns Doty. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Warner Robins. Kimberly retired from Neurology Associates in the medical billing department. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Edward “Ed” Rekau, daughters, Jennifer Tillery and Ashley Olson, grandchildren, Emma, Steven, Colin, William and Zachary, siblings, Marsha (Marlin) Lee, Beverly Doty, and Robert (Karen) Doty and several nieces and nephews.
