LaRee Tuggle Kilgore

LaRee Tuggle Kilgore passed away at her home on June 8, 2025. LaRee had the gift of hospitality and loved to entertain her family and friends. She was a woman of a strong Christian faith which she lived out in her actions. LaRee loved to help her friends and neighbors in times of need. She loved her grandchildren and children fiercely.

LaRee is survived by her husband of 64 years, to be 65 on Friday, Bernie Kilgore; sister, LaRue Tuggle Camp; children, Julie Willis (Mark) and John Kilgore. She had 3 grandchildren whom she adored, Kate Willis, Luke Willis, and Madelyn Kilgore. She is predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Estelle Tuggle.

LaRee was a graduate of Tift College. She retired from Tinsley Elementary after 25 years. LaRee was a member of Forest Hills Church and the Seekers Sunday School class.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Ken Horton will officiate. Burial will be private at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Monticello, Georgia.

Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road, has charge of arrangements.
