Linda Kathryne Smith Neal

MACON – Linda Kathryne Smith Neal, 56, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012. Memorial services and a celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with Chaplain Glynn Cranford officiating. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Sunday at the funeral home.

Ms. Neal was a lifelong resident of Macon and was of the Presbyterian faith. She loved all animals and was trainer and groomer at Browntree Arabian Farms. She was most devoted to her horse, “Fire One.”

Survivors include her children, John Michael (Joann) Neal of Byron and Alicia Brittney Carroll of Griffin; three grandchildren, Bobby Allan Carroll of Griffin, Melanie Brooke Sexton and Brittany Ryanne Neal, both of Byron; her father, Robert James Smith of Macon; her mother, Margaret James Smith of Jackson, MS; her brothers, Bobby Smith of Tybee Island, Tommy Smith of Atlanta and Chris Smith of Jackson, MS and her fiancé of ten years, Bobby Gaultney of Macon.
