Lisa was born in Macon on November 25, 1963 and grew up on Tybee Island, Georgia, before moving back to Macon where she attended high school and worked at the Ponderosa Steak House. Lisa also worked in pre-school and VPK for several years and was certified in Early Childhood Education. In 2004 she and her husband moved to St. Augustine where she continued working with children. Lisa lost her fight with dementia after five years on January 8, 2023.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father Ollie Palmer, mother Gloria "Cookie" Gregory, sister Beth Arnold and step-son Joshua Rowland. She is survived by her husband of 20 years Shaw Rowland, daughter Katie (Paul) Eagle, son Ricky "Buddy" Bridger and step-son Robert (Ellie) Rowland. Grandchildren Nicholas, Khloe, and Trevor Eagle. Elijah, Aaryn, and Lily Bridger.
A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be private. The family requests that donations in lieu of flowers be sent to the Alzheimer's Association and Community Hospice.
