

MACON - Louise P. Lindsey, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Bolingreen Health Care and Rehab Facility. Funeral services will be held at 3P.M., Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. John Haney will officiate. The family will meet friends from 2:00 P.M. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. They suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon 31204.
Mrs. Lindsey, the wife of the late Joseph E. Lindsey, was born in Baxter, FL the daughter of the late Earl V. and Mamie Chandler Peed. She had lived in Macon most of her life and was secretary retired from Fickling & Walker Development Company. Mrs. Lindsey was a member of Cherokee Heights United Methodist Church. She was a member and former treasurer of the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her loyal companion, her dog "Cappie."
Survivors include her daughter, Carol A. Hodges of Macon; her son, James W. (Kimberly) Hodges of Macon; her grandchildren, Michael A. Hodges, Trenton C. Mosely, Taylor S. James and Charles W. Hodges; her brother, Gus Peed of Florida; a niece and a nephew.
