Margaret Ann Hicks

Margaret Ann Hicks, 90, passed away Tuesday, October 09, 2012 at Baptist Village, Waycross. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Brother Greg Thomson officiating. The family will meet friends from 12 Noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono.

Ms. Hicks, daughter of the late George Benjamin Walker and Nancy Ann Smith Walker, was born in Clayton, AL. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia after twenty-five years. Ms. Hicks was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Hicks Hadden of McDonough and Bettye Hicks Spillers of Waycross; her five grandchildren, Jennifer Hadden Chocallo, Kathryn Hadden Thomson, Christopher J. Hadden, Ashley Jerome Spillers and Carl Benjamin Spillers and twelve great grandchildren.
