Marjorie "Magie" Gunn Wheeler

A private celebration of her life will be held, with private burial at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

Born in College Park, Georgia, Margie was the daughter of the late Harold and Coralee Lunsford Gunn. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Cox Wheeler; her sister, Harriett Jones; and her daughter, Leigh Ann Passon.

Margie was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in cooking and entertaining. She especially cherished gathering family and friends around her table, where good food, laughter and fellowship made lasting memories. Her love for her family was at the heart of her life, and she will be remembered for the warmth and hospitality she shared with those she loved.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Julie) Wheeler of Macon; her beloved brother, Guy (Connie) Gunn, grandchildren, Brittany Passon, Collin Passon, Hannah (John) Ingle, Tyler (Samantha) Wheeler, Nikki Wheeler, Cole (Hannah) Wheeler and Sydney Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Max, Wyatt, Jake, Origen and Rosie; and her cherished nieces and nephews.

Margie’s love of family and the many memories shared around her table will remain treasured by all who knew and loved her.
