Martha Faye Stone Beckworth

MACON – Martha Faye Stone Beckworth, 71, died Friday, September 3, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Rusty Smith and Rev. Ed Chambless will officiate. The family will greet friends from 10:00 until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Beckworth was born in Baxley, Georgia and had lived in Middle Georgia for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Mikado Baptist Church. Mrs. Beckworth was the daughter of the late William Mitchell (Pete) Stone and Howard Evans Stone and was preceded in death by her son, Keith Beckworth and a brother, Herschel Stone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved her family.

Mrs. Beckworth is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert H. Beckworth, Sr. of Macon; daughter, Wendy (Douglas) McDowelll of Warner Robins; son, Robert Beckworth, Jr. of Macon; step-daughter, Linda Lienbacher of Austria; grandchildren, Mathew Beardsley, Reese Beckworth, Andrew McDowell, Brandy Cowan, Taylor McDowell, Tiffany McDowell, Tara McDowell; step-grandchildren, Sandra Breinlinger, Patrick Lienbacher; siblings, Alla Mae Elton of Baxley, Dennis Stone (Maurice) of Savannah, Mary Pilkinton of Fernandina Beach, FL, Charles (Eileen) Stone of Baxley, Dale (Charles) Millwood of Forsyth, Linda Hutchinson (Charlie) of Bloomingdale, GA, Barbara (Johnny) Aycock of Kathleen, Kathy (Patrick) Putman of Bonaire, Bonnie (Edward) Spell of Baxley; a number of nieces and nephews.
