Mary Lois R. Barron

Mary Lois R. Barron, 85 years of age, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, near Cochran. The Rev. Ed Chambless will officiate. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Mikado Baptist Church Building Fund, 6751 Houston Road, Macon 31216.

Lois was a member of Mikado Baptist Church where she enjoyed the fellowship of the people and received a real blessing from the services as long as she was physically able to attend. She was born and educated in Dodge County and employed at Keebler Company in Macon for many years.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Cordie Barron, one son, Barney Barron of Macon, her parents, Arthur Rogers and Trellie Giddens Rogers of Chester, GA, a brother, Melton Junior Rogers of Atlanta and one grandson, Kenneth Barron.

She is survived by one son, Donald Barron of Atlanta; three grandsons, Ashley (Jill) Barron of Atlanta, Lee Barron of Ellington, SC and Travis Barron of Macon; one granddaughter, Brittany Barron of Atlanta; a sister, Joyce Rogers Lewis of Macon; several great grandchildren; one niece and two nephews.
