Mary Moore Peterman

Macon, GA – Mary Elizabeth Moore Peterman, 83, passed away on Friday, May 04, 2012. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery (Madison Street) with Dr. James C. Dant officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry St. from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Those who wish may make donations to Evercare Hospice, 4875 Riverside Drive, Macon GA 31210.

Mrs. Peterman was born in Pisgah, AL to the late George Hampton and Tressie Mearse Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.F. Peterman, Jr. Mrs. Peterman was a graduate of Edmundson Business College in Chattanooga, TN and was a member of First Christian Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Flint River Memory Care, Bolingreen Rehabilitation and Nursing Home and Evercare Hospice for the compassion and care given to Mrs. Peterman.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickye Peterman Massey (Stephen) of Macon, son and daughter-in-law, G.F. (Pete) Peterman, III (Susan) of Macon, two grandchildren, Claire Elizabeth Massey and John Stephen Massey, sister, Juanita Hadden of Henegar, AL, sister-in-laws, Eloise Moore of Nashville, TN, Ingrid Moore of El Paso, TX, Eula Mae Moore of Pisgah, AL and brother-in-law, Forrest E. Peterman of Griffin.
