

Mary Clare “Rinky” Raybourne, 89, died Monday, 13 June 2016 in Columbia, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with private burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Reverend Pam Lightsey will officiate. Visitation will follow the memorial service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon 31201 or Loaves and Fishes Ministry, 651 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Macon 31201.
Mrs. Raybourne was a homemaker and, at one time, the menu planner and food shopper for the lunches at St. Paul’s Apartments. When her husband, the late Jack Raybourne retired, she joined him on his boat and was known for her skill casting a shrimp net. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and a former member of the Auxiliary to the Bibb County Medical Society.
Mrs. Raybourne was born in Charleston, SC and was the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Harold H. Robinson. She is survived by her daughter, Susan R. Raybourne, MD of Columbia, SC; brother, Harold H. Robinson Jr. of Summerville, SC; nephew, Hunter Robinson of Lexington, SC; niece, Donna Puckett of Charleston, SC; and four great nieces and nephews: Mariah, Derrick, Connor, and Jack Robinson of Lexington, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Elbert Raybourne, M.D. and her sons, Steven H. Raybourne and Jack Wright Raybourne.
