Michael Luke Stefano

Michael Luke Stefano, 73, passed away on Thursday, December 11 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 14 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Baxter Hurley officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 1217 Forest Hill Road, Macon 31210 or M. D. Anderson Cancer Center – Head and Neck Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas, 77210.

Mike was born in Macon and was preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Rosa Vullo Stefano and his brother, George Stefano II. He was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Mike was in the Sertoma Club, State Director of Sanitary Supply Association, and President of Henderson Chemical Company. Mike enjoyed woodworking, golf and bowling and being a sports spectator. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara G. Stefano; his children, Todd (Donna) Stefano of Locust Grove and Stephanie (John) Hall of Macon; grandchildren, Brent Hall of Atlanta, Katy and Blake Hall of Macon, Spencer Stefano of Locust Grove and Caitlin Hart of Locust Grove; brother, Sam (Diane) Stefano of Milledgeville and numerous nieces and nephews.
