I moved to Macon in November 1962 and attended J. Ellsworth Hall School. Mrs. Trammell was my 2nd grade teacher, the first I had after moving. I still have our class photograph and I got it out when I heard of her passing. Mrs. Trammell reminded me of my own mother, kind, sweet and patient. It has been years since I had seen her at a church supper but she still had her optimistic nature. She was a real inspiration to a little seven year old and she remains so still.

Mr. Trammell, Annette, and Jimmy, Our prayers are with you during this time. Your wife and mother was such a special lady. I've tried many times to locate Annette and catch up with her. I remember the times back on Bayswater Rd. that we all shared and the wonderful cakes your mother used to bake for birthday parties. I know you will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Faye Tolbert Sullivan and Debbie Tolbert Gamber

We were so sorry to hear of Miriam's passing. You and she were so influential in so many young couples' lives at First Baptist Church--including ours. We will be forever grateful for your and Miriam's kind, gentle, and wise stewardship. I can't help but think that our good Lord has opened His loving arms and spoken, "Welcome home, Miriam, my good and faithful servant." You and your family are in our prayers.

Mr. Trammell, Annette, and Jimmy. Your mother was a Saint of God's. She and James touched our lives through total kindness and love in the young couples Sunday School Class. They made us a part of their extended family, and taught us much about the grace and fellowship of Christ. Thank you so much. We share in your sadness, and rejoice in her unspeakable joy of being in God's presence. Chuck and Janet English, and family.

It has been a long time since DeMolay in the 70's and seeing the Trammels. They were wonderful people.
