Enjoyed being with Myrtle. She was always so happy and I can see her now going across the parking lot after church with no cane or walker in a hurry to get back to the Manor for lunch. Lots of times a group would go out Sunday evening for a snack. Will miss her.

I have many memories of Aunt Myrtle. Her fishing with my sons when they were little boy fishermen. The special trips we took and all the family history she shared as we rode in the car on those 6 hour rides. I will always treasure the wind chimes she gave us and will be reminded of her each time the wind blows and the chimes ring. Peace and comfort to Charlotte and all the family. Aunt Myrtle lived a wonderful life and we were blessed to be part of it.

One of my best memories with Aunt Myrtle is Easter egg hunts here in Telfair County out around Granny's home with all the cousins in the pine woods....even today the fragrance of pine straw warmed by the sun takes me right back to those days. There were a bunch of us and that was a lot of eggs.

We really enjoyed the trips we made with Mrs. Myrtle along with us. She always added to the fun when we traveled. She was so tiny, she, Charlotte P and I could all sit comfortably in the back seat of our truck.
