Nicholle Renee’ Adams Greene of Macon, Georgia went home to be with her Heavenly Father May 20th, 2018. She was the wife of Kenneth Lee Greene and mother to Sydney Renee’ and Abigail Lee Greene of Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of Richard Sidney Adams and Madrid Hayes Adams of Hazelhurst, Georgia and sister to Terry Lavender, Vicki Adams, and Rebecca Adams.

Man has yet to create the words to describe Nicki Greene. She was a woman of unwavering faith, unconditional love, and inspiring compassion. To all who knew her, her smile not only illuminated the room but every life that was blessed to call her friend. Nicki had an unexplainable magnetism that attracted all who were in her presence. Many were drawn to her vivacious personality and unrelenting whit that captivated a crowd or placed a smile on the face of someone during simple conversation.

Nicki accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child and the Holy Spirit that lived in her was an exuding light no one could deny. Her insatiable desire for spiritual knowledge is one she practiced not only in her marriage but also in the raising of her children. She was not simply a member of Bethany Baptist Church but immersed herself in the inner workings of the church through teaching Sunday school and the decorating committee.

Decorating was a gift Nicki loved to share with the world whether it was decorating someone’s outside appearance through her occupation as a cosmetologist at Cottage Cuts or extravagantly decorating her home for Christmas for all to enjoy. Her passion lied within her creativity and her ability to craft something remarkable out of something perceived as ordinary. Above all, family was her greatest treasure.

Her 30-year marriage to Kenny Greene was one of the proudest achievements of her life. The spark that ignited in Macon, Georgia in 1987 when Kenny and Nicki met grew into an eternal flame of love, laughter, and memories that will forever impact and be cherished by family and friends.

She created a unique imprint on our hearts and the love carried for her will only grow.

To Nicki from all who love her, “We’ll see you when we get home.”

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Juliette with Rev. Jimmy Corbitt and Rev. Clay Bowden officiating. Burial will be private at Union Springs Baptist Church in Hazelhurst.

My sweet friend. You were one of my best friends in high school. The times we had I will cherish forever. They are still to this day Some of my favorite memories. From hanging out and ending up crashing on my living room floor and being woke up to the smell of my mom and dad cooking us lol breakfast. They never knew when we would all end up there but never complained and always woke us up to the smell of breakfast. To cosmetology class where it is a wonder the teacher didn’t kill us (braiding your hair like Bo Dereck lol) to all the great times in the Jeep. And so many more. We lost touch as we grew up but reconnected on fb. I am so glad I got to come to your shop see you again and get you to do my hair. I love you and look forward to seeing you again in heaven.

I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of such an amazing lady. Trey and Sydney were in youth group and youth choir at Mt. Zion and I am always glad such a wonderful person came into our lives because she never made you feel unwanted. I will miss her smiling face and the great conversations she had with Scarlett,
Please if you need anything just let me know

I went to school at Jessie Rice Elementary with Nikki. She and her family lived around the corner. She was so pretty and I soon had a crush on her. She probably never knew it. I remember Summer vacation Bible school at their house on Van Zant. I am sad to hear of her passing. My prayers go out to her family. I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Family of Nicki Greene:
It's hard to understand why loved ones are taken from us, but I hope you find comfort in knowing you were all a very special part of such a well-lived life. When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. May the memories you have with Nicki, carry you through this most difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss! Nicki was so precious to my mother who had Alzheimer’s and loved on her as she would fix her hair. What a beautiful lady she was! I will be praying for you asking the Lord to give you His strength to walk through these hard days.

God bless you Kenny, Sydney, Abby and all of Nicki’s family, please know that our hearts are broken for all of you. We are praying for you with each passing moment, the coming days, weeks and months ahead, that the Lord of Heaven will cover you with His mighty wings, pour out his boundless mercy, flood your souls with his unending love, fill you with a peace that only He can provide, give you strength for each moment, and may the Holy Spirit pour down on each of you a comfort that cannot be explained. We too will miss this beautiful lady, she was lovely inside and out, her smile and laughter were contagious and would fill the room, she had a wonderful sense of humor, was always kind, thoughtful, caring and giving and it was incredibly evident to everyone who met her, just how much, and how deeply she loved her family. May her wonderful and sweet spirit live on forever in each of you. With much love and prayers for you all.
