Nora Potts

Nora Walsh Potts, 81, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Forsyth, Georgia. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Vernon Knight officiating. Burial will be private. A Scripture Service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at 6 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with a reception to follow at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar St., Macon 31201 or the donor’s favorite charity.

Nora was born in Liverpool, England to the late Patrick and Anne Healy Walsh. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Potts. Nora was retired from Dr. Ty Ivey’s dental office and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons, James Potts of Augusta, Stephen (Suzanne) Potts of Marietta and John (Terry) Potts of Gray; and daughter, Patricia (Ray) Wells of Morgantown, WV; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her brother, Brendan Walsh of England.
