Ouida Haygood Rhodes

Ouida Haygood Rhodes, 96, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at a local nursing home. Private Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 12 noon at Riverside Cemetery with the Reverend Joe McDaniel officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors, 12672 Silicon Drive, Suite 105, San Antonio, TX 78249 or Caring Companions, 269 Albermarle Place, 31204.

Mrs. Rhodes was born in Monroe County to the late Sara Evans and Grady Haygood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sim Zellner Rhodes. Mrs. Rhodes was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and Riverside Ladies Golf Association at Riverside Golf and County Club.

Mrs. Rhodes is survived by her children, Lynn (Charles H.) Rhodes Baker of Macon, Sara Frances Rhodes of Warner Robins and Zeke (Joe Ann) Rhodes of Macon, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
