Paula Russell McGinty

Paula Russell McGinty, age 62, of Bolingbroke, Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday, July 17, 2023 surrounded by her family. A visitation for Paula will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. A Celebration of Life will occur Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Snow's Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dan Darden will officiate. Burial will be in Ramah Cemetery in Gordon at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paula's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org

Paula was born in Sylva, North Carolina the daughter of the late Charles William Russell. She was a retired school teacher having taught at Veritas Classical Schools. Paula also tutored many students in mathematics and home schooled both daughters. She was a devoted wife and mother who was dearly loved by her family.

Paula is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dr. Robert McGinty of Bolingbroke; daughters, Erica Beeler (Michael) and Rachel Walker (Brendan); granddaughter on the way, Abigail Beeler; mother, Barbara Saunders Russell; siblings, Gloria Hendrix (Robert), Kathy Russell and Michael Russell; numerous nephews and a niece.
