Phillip D. Marberry, 56, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Masonic Services conducted by Central Georgia Masonic Memorial Association. Pastor Lee Griffin will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time at the church on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Macon Lodge No. 5 or to the Georgia Masonic Children’s Home.
Mr. Marberry, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Marberry, was born in Chicago, IL. He was a Police Officer with the City of Macon retiring after twenty-eight years. Mr. Marberry was Past Master of Macon Lodge No. 5 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Marberry; his son, Cory (Jessica) Marberry; two grandchildren, Xander and Kinsey Marberry; two brothers, Jack Marberry and Jeff Marberry; two sisters, Terri Morgan and Kim Stokes; his uncle, Herb Scrimsher.
