Raymond L. Holland

Raymond L. Holland, 89, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Herschel Sizemore officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4770 Sardis Church Road, Macon GA 31216.

Mr. Holland was born in Dodge County to the late Thomas M. and Mollie Holland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tyner Sizemore Holland and his sister, Lillie Hamm. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Raymond was a charter member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children; Georgia (Joe) Rosenhagen of Macon, Franklin (Susan) Wellborn of Macon, and Kenny (Wanda) Wellborn of Gray, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
